On May 20, 2005 at 1:49am little Maren Constance Koering Zimney came into the world at 8 pounds, 3 ounces and 21 inches long. After watching a midnight showing of Star Wars (the last movie we would see for a long while, little did I know), I woke up at 9am Thursday to my water breaking. Whoa! (Ah-hem: it's the weirdest thing ever!) After a loooooong day of labor, our little darling came out making beautiful, funny faces with an observant eye like her dad. *sigh* an indescribable moment... The next few weeks were a complete blur of learning and loving and mind-numbing long nights and time that flew way too quickly. (And I hear that's pretty much parenting in a nutshell!)
