July 25th, 2005:
Maren, you are over two months old! I can hardly believe it! You sleep like a champ, going down about 8pm and sleeping until 4am or so. You are getting so big. 12.5 pounds already! The doc says you look "perfect." You like to grunt and make all kinds of noises, and you are a great feeder. We didn't have much trouble breastfeeding. :) You flash us the greatest grins when you're well-fed, and you hold your head up pretty well. Everyone says how strong you are, and how beautiful. People are also pretty jealous of how well and how much you sleep... such a good baby! We've taken you out to dinner, on lots of walks. You've been held by lots of people who ooh and aah at you, and you are a great sport about it always. You are beginning to grin lots -- patty cake or a little push on the nose usually does the trick. Daddy loves that one!
And, your little cousin, Amelia, was born today! Welcome to the world Amelia!
