Our little punkin decided that this week would be the week she would begin to test the boundaries. This is kind of exciting, considering up until now she's been an extremely agreeable baby. Her spark, let's call it, is making its presence known! This week the spark came out in the form of protests against napping. Now that she can stand up in her crib, she sees no reason to lay down. Now that she can crawl, she sees no reason to sit still. Now that she can put food in her mouth with her fingers, she sees no reason to try and put food into her mouth with a spoon! Although it's been challenging at times, it's been so fun to watch her determination and energy -- non-stop though it is. I keep looking at Andy and saying, "we made a person!"... she's becoming a full-fledged little toddler so quickly, it's frightening. But have you ever seen a cuter challenge?!
