Work calls us back in August after some lovely time away each summer, and this August is no different. I'm looking forward to seeing all the YF peeps again, but the 'ol 'leaving Maren for 10 hours a day' thing is feeling reminiscent of a year ago... the dreaded and difficult day-care dilemma. We're so unbelievably lucky: Maren goes to our neighbor's house where they adore her. I can't tell you how much easier it is to head off to work to be fully present there when I know Maren is well-loved where she's at. It's the best of both worlds. Shannon starts watching Marenino in September, so this August we're feeling especially lucky for all the pro-bono grandma/grandpa/aunt babysitting we're lucky enough to bribe off of our family members. Thanks to all who are helping out. We and Maren are very lucky to have you!
