This year, the state fair took on an entirely different flavor with a one-year old. Last year, we packed up Maren in the stroller, along with bottles and formula and breastmilk and diapers and the camera and blankets, and two changes of clothes, etc etc.... and Maren slept through the entire experience. The state fair, for a one-year-old, is a haven of smells and sights and... the Happy Helpers Farm! This place is awesome! A tiny little farmer-world, with tractors, and feed, and cows to milk, and even a place for you to turn in your hard earned money for a box of Cheerios. Here, Maren is planting some seeds, and bringing her carrots home. Serious cuteness.
