This is a big lesson for me this week. She's asserting her independence in the form of picking out her own clothes. It's an exercise in letting go, and I get a total kick out of it. Today, she chose to wear this sweater that was knit by my mom, but I accidentally felted it in the dryer. (WHOOPS.) So, it's a bit small. Maren doesn't care! Ah, to be so carefree....
