And by all I mean Andy, Sally, Maren and Luke. (Oh, I guess Sky isn't sick, but would I really know if she was?) And by sick, I mean... well, it's a sad and long list. Poor Luke: he's got the beginnings of an ear infection, and his lungs are so gucky we've got him hooked up to a nebulizer a few times a day so he won't be up all night wheezing, like he was the other night. Plus, I swear he's been teething for about four months, his little drooling mess of chewing on whatever he can... that can't be helping, either. Maren is super-snot-filled, and holy cow, if being 2 and a half is a sickness then SHE'S GOT IT BAD!!!!!!!!!!! Arugh. That's all I have to say about my very precocious toddler. She is challenging me at present. Both of the kids are constantly one sneeze away from a flying-snot-emergency. Andy's been holding his cold at bay fairly well - but the poor man has been working his a#@$#$% off and I'm not sure how he's doing it, because in the last two days I've been slammed over the head with a horribleness that includes a sore throat and headache and, well, that's it (but it's enough for your sympathy, right?). The combination of all of these realities has me struggling to keep my patience through even the most mundane daily task... like getting lunch ready while the kiddies pull at my pant legs... or, Maren wants some juice....or Luke wants to be picked up. Things that shouldn't push my patience, but indeed they did.
So, I shall drink more tea. And pop more zinc/echinacea/vitamin C. And pray for patience.

I hope you're all feeling better - wish I could help you and say, "I wish it was me sick instead of you"
