So, in the last few weeks Maren has been cutting her own hair. Every time she gets a hold of a pair of scissors (I know; who keeps scissors sitting around?! I guess we do.) she started in on her hair. The first time, I got a call at work from Andy who plopped her on ichat so I could see the "damage." Not horrible, but enough that we decided to chop off most of the length (as you can see below). Then she went at it again, with me... and in fact, then went after MY hair. And THEN, the other day, she was "playing" in her room while I was getting dinner together, and I thought to myself... she's awfully quiet right now... "What are you doing, Maren?" "I'm working on a project, Mommy." I walked into her room to find her sitting in front of a mirror and cutting her hair AGAIN! Below, you can see the results of her very short bangs.
Actually, it's sort of cute. I think we've found a new talent.
