And 30 seconds after I shut the computer with Jake, I got a call from my friend Megan... and little Jackson Tyler Bireley was born!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYA! OH HAPPY DAY!

When Maren was born, GW had just been re-elected... and truly, I wondered what kind of world we were bringing her into. And today - to be born today - on a day when the first African-American has been nominated for the Presidency and inspired millions to get engaged and involved and moved to do something great for our country and for the world... well, it truly is a happy day to bring babies into the world.
