At any rate - here are some pics from Christmas to catch you up on the z-fam.
One of the Zimney traditions is to head out to Nye's piano bar for some singing around the piano with a few drinks in hand. I love this pic of the Zimney men!

We hosted Christmas Eve this year... and in the true spirit of Andy, he obsessed over the menu and preparation. Here, the kiddos are helping Andy get some of the goodies ready. I'm not sure how much 'help' they actually were.

Uncle Tony came into town from Seattle - and we had so much fun with him! Here, he's playing some sort of airplane game...
Auntie Molly is still in South Korea - so we got her on the computer at one point to bring her into the room... the technology is so cool, we got to open some presents in "front" of her. We miss you, Mol!
One of Maren's gifts was a "dress-up" set - stocked with old dresses of mine - including this "Cinderella" dress that my mom made for Halloween when I was about 5. Dude, dressing up is so much fun!
And, besides the flu, we had a very relaxing and wonderful time at the cabin:
Maren, hanging out with her cousins:
It was so fun to watch Maren playing with her cousins all week. At one point, Maren and her cousin Ryan spent two whole hours outside playing in the snow. The rest of us had exhausted the hills and gotten too chilly to stay outside any longer...but these two were troopers.(I can't seem to get the video to upload... I'll try again another time.)
But I did find this video of Maren and her cousin Mia playing on the piano. You get a good sense of just a touch of the chaos that is the cabin when we're all there...
OH FORGET IT! I have been trying to upload these videos for three days BE GONE WITH YOU DUMB VIDEO THING! Maybe another time.
Overall, a lovely and relaxing holiday break... we hope you enjoyed some time with family and friends yourself.
