a potpourri of photos for your viewing pleasure...

...since we're about to leave town for a week or two, and since I've been a BAD BLOGGER and will likely continue to be a BAD BLOGGER until about mid-July.

So, here, at least, are some pictures:

The obsession with geocaching continues. Although whenever I'm along, we strike out completely and consistently. So, the result is that I don't at all see the attraction to the hobby. But, the kiddos LOVE it, and it's great bonding time with Daddy.

Here, Maren's off on a treasure hunt...

We did our annual trip to Grand Ol Day... but this year the weather was pretty crappy (COLD), and, well, Grand Old Day is not nearly as much fun as when we would go and just spend the entire day at a beer garden listening to music. Watching the beer garden and music from afar isn't nearly as cool. So, we exhausted the children the best we could. Luke took a turn at one of the kiddie rides:

Maren has a strange scare last week. She got some kind of bite.. which, within hours started getting infected... which in turn started swelling her face. This is the best picture we got of her, but it really doesn't do the swelling justice. It totally freaked me out! Lukily, with some meds it went away quickly...

And then there's little Lukey. This kid keeps cracking me up several times each and every day. On this particular day, he took Maren's potty training seat and turned it into a hat.

Super gross. I think he was going for a Dora-sombrero look, myself.

Perhaps I will upload some more pics or videos soon? We'll see how relaxed I'm able to get in the next week.
