The household is getting better, little by little. But now both Andy and I have some kind of sick residue on us, and we're all foggy and tired and getting into bed somewhere around 9 each night. We're pathetic, we know - but it's so dark and cold out - why not, right?! Sorry for the light posting. I have good intentions, but you know what they say about good intentions, right?
On a brighter note... An all-time favorite activity around our house, for probably the last year, has been to turn on some music and stomp around the living room coffee table. I hold Luke and "dance" with him, and Maren holds her monkey and "dances" with him/her (the sex of little monkey changes daily). I totally love it - and so do they! Giggles and laughter and smiles and - oh, the pure joy! My kiddies are music lovers. I have, however, gotten quite tired of the music selection, especially since Maren indeed has her favorites, and now knows how to turn the stereo on and put it on the right cd and the right track to get her absolute favorites cued up... what can I say? - she knows what she wants.
But, once Christmas comes along, I'm revived by music again - much to the chagrin of Mr. Zimney, who until recently had banned all Christmas music until close to the actual event. (I couldn't abide. I love Christmas music!) I was reminded this morning about some wonderful holiday music from a friend's blog, and wanted to share with you all the song that turns up the spirit portion of the season for me. I want to crank up the volume and stomp around the living room again and again and again with this one...The picture's horrible, but you get the spirit of the music - BNL and Sarah MacLachlan, which has me up and dancing with it right this minute.
Enjoy!

That's one of my favorites too. So after watching your clip I was humming the song & turned on my radio for my Xmas music fix and lo & behold, that song came on 30 seconds later! Wow.
