playing in the leaves

The weather in Minnesota has been truly gorgeous this fall. The season actually didn't slip by unnoticed like it normally does... there were lots of days playing outside and heading to the park and hanging with the neighbors, when normally the chill moves us indoors much too early. But this fall we kept inching up into the 70's. There are some amazing trees around here that hang onto their leaves for weeks after all the other ones... gorgeous!

I suppose it's only fair to point out that the "gorgeous" weather has all but disappeared since we took these pics. Today it was sunny and about 37 degrees. At least it was sunny!
